Grade 6 poetry ILT

All the grade six's took part in the poetry ILT (ILT means Intergrated learning task)

Poetry is something you write about someone or something you want to write about 

it can weird and funny.Poetry is your own writing it can be about anything.

People write poetry because they want to express something in the form of writing.

Our first task was to go to Ms van Tonder and the whole class had to make up a play for the Poem mMs van Tonder wrote for us.Then we had to do Terminology,that is where we are given a list of words and we have to look them up and write down the meaning on a google doc.Task 3 we had write a poem but there were different types of poems that we had to write I wrote a color poem, that is a poem in every sentence had to be a color. What we had to do for task 4 was to get a piece of paper with writing on it and circle words with black marker.For task five we had to make a poem and say it in front of the grade in front of the class, for the poem you could just have said it or make a play for the poem while saying it.For task six we had to read a poem the teachers gave us and we had to answer Questions.For task seven we had to read a poem and draw a picture for the poem.The last task was to answer ten Questions about the poetry ILT. My favourite task was imagery because  drawing is fun and my least favourtite task was writing the poem it was boring.The hardest task for me was the black out poetry.Oh  i was fine with performing. I did not really learn any now vocabulary. I learned about myself that i can not write poems!

I am going to talk about my favourite TV show, my favourite game and my favourite animal.
My favourite TV show is called Dragon Ball Super.
its about some people who have come from space and are now training on earth  because that is their favourite thing to do and some were in space their was a god  of destuction and his angel looking for the people that came from space and they want to fight them.
My favourite game is Need For Speed Shift.
This game is about cars you can race, its really fun                                                                      by titus
I spend hours playing this game when i got it and you can get lots of different cars .
you get four tiers,I am on tier 3 now because my brother also plays this game.
I love my dogs, i have five dogs Crank,Maxine. They are fun to play with crank likes to play alot and Maxine licks  alot and bites alot. But they are still fun to play

Mean singing inspecter

my name Charles and one day a year the  singing inspecter would come and
He was wearing  false golden teeth and a fake hair and he wears knikerbockers with thick stocking. His face is  round and red his eyes like blue gooseberries. He was the most hatefull person in the universe his Mr Raymond.   But to day he came i was in music class he came dun dun dun he said in a roaring voice get in line and me and benny had to go up and sing we both said we did not know any songs he shouted sing anything i said we will sing pretty poly. I sang in a high voice and benny sang in a squeaking voice. He shouted take them away. That night i had a dream where i slap him so many times that he started sing pretty poly. I was sad that i locked myself in my room for a day. The next day i came out and went to school he was gone i was so happy. That is story

my June holiday

On Friday when the school broke up i went to my moms house a i watched TV with her and the next day i went to my moms shop for 2 hours and i just played around well she was working and my mom got me   biltong  and when we went to pick & pay  in the shop i choked on on a piece of biltong it was really bad   it was stuck in the middle of my throat and got i it out  4 mins later  it was out. an 2 days later we went to the snow and i took some home but  my mom went to a friend for 3 hours and when we got home at 10 o clock it melted in to water i was sad but it tasted nice too.The next day i went to the movies and watched finding dory .On Wednesday i went back to my dads house and on Friday i sleep at my friend Jason's house in the morning i watched the BFG with my friend Jason  and then i had a  braai at my dads friends house and on their and then me and my dad watched

Fruit!Glorious fruit i

Fact I had fun cutting the fruit because it made a big mess and i liked eating the grapes it was so sweet.I liked making the fruit kebab it tasted so nice and we eat it outside. I liked the master chef we got to taste new food we never had before and we did no work in our books. I liked the sugar bar graph we did. And we learnt all about fruit.

Design a city

Today we  had to design a city with houses and shops  and fun places and  factory,s  we put the factory,s out the city because a factory  makes to much smoke the shops are are in the city because we need to buy food.We also had to make routes to with lines and shapes to make roads.
